Published in 2021, the work organized by Antonieta Megale has its guiding thread guided by the questioning sense of how to carry out a Bilingual Education in Brazil, considering the dimensions of the school reality, above all, from the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on reflections and experiences of teachers and researchers of bilingualism, in addition to a preface and introduction, the book has eight chapters that address issues such as multiculturalism, teaching, learning, assessment, phonological awareness, among other aspects that permeate bilingual practice at school. With ample problematization on the subject, but, in equal measure, in didactic propositions, Bilingual Education: how to do it? it constitutes essential reading within its area, by proposing a debate located under the Latin American and Brazilian conjuncture and specificities, and guided by a critical look from Applied Linguistics and Education on the learning of foreign languages from the perspective of linguistic law.
